Raging River Films

Raging River Films is a Canadian producer and distributor of international high-quality feature films and scripted/unscripted television. We focus on productions that tell stories of depth, humor and intelligence while at the same time appealing to a broad commercial international audience and client broadcaster base. Founded by (Gemini-nominated – Canada’s Emmy) Warren Sulatycky, producer/director/writer with 20 plus years of industry experience, Raging River Films and Warren Sulatycky have provided over 250 hours of prime-time programming for Canadian and international broadcasters/production partners including HGTV US, HGTV Canada, The Food Network, Showcase Television, CBC, Slice, BRAVO, Much Music, YTV, CMT, CW Network/US, Corus Entertainment.

Projects include the just completed feature film “Jasmine Road” funded by Telefilm/Alberta Media Fund/Ontario Creates, written, produced and directed by Warren Sulatycky. “Jasmine Road” had its’ world premiere at the Calgary International Film Festival September 2020, was selected as the opening night film for the Edmonton IFF (winning the BEST CANADIAN FEATURE Award) and recently opened the Calgary Arab Film Nights Festival. Our debut feature film "April in Autumn" written, directed, and produced by Warren Sulatycky was a selection in Telefilm Canada’s PERSPECTIVE CANADA CANNES, the best of new Canadian cinema, 2018. “AIA” has since played to sold out audiences in many world festivals as an official selection. “April in Autumn” was released theatrically in Canada in fall of 2019 garnering strong reviews from national critics. “April in Autumn” launched online worldwide in August 2020 in thirty countries on Apple TV/Itunes, Amazon, Google, Vudu, and Vimeo. “April in Autumn” is licensed to the Superchannel’s Heart and Home Network, in Canada.

Past film and television productions include: “Surrender”, written and directed by Warren Sulatycky, a half-hour drama and winner of the Ontario Creates Al Waxman Calling Card Award, licensed to Showcase Television Canada, official selection at the Atlantic Film Festival. Warren Sulatycky created, series directed and executive produced the international hit television series “Love by Design for HGTV Canada and HGTV US.

Projects in development include “Juliet’s Answer” (Canadian development financing secured) based on the international best-selling memoir by Glenn Dixon, “Wild Goat Surf” (Canadian development financing secured) written and to be directed by Caitlyn Sponheimer, “Hafford Park” (Canadian development financing secured) written and to be directed Warren Sulatycky.
