Momma's Boy is a latent coming of age story with a Sci Fi Twist. It plays like a romantic comedy but there's a secret under the surface.
The film centers around Dave who struggles to find his place in the world, he has trouble dealing with everyday setbacks and his emotions in general. Dave has a seemingly overly dependent relationship with his mother who has become his emotional crutch, which in turn hinders him from his own personal growth and development.
Will Dave ever become the man he could be and start to really live his own life? Or will his need for his mother ruin all chances he has of happiness and adult love?
