Sinossi

For the first time, the Jack London novel ‘White Fang’ will be produced as an animated feature film. White Fang is the classic tale of a canine’s journey from life in the wild to domestication.

Set in Yukon, Canada during the 1890’s Klondike Gold Rush the story explores themes of morality, redemption and love. Since Jack London’s classic novel was first published in 1906 it has gone on to become an international bestseller translated into over 89 languages.

Director Alexandre Espigares won an Academy Award for his short animated film, “Mr. Hublot”.

Superprod is a Paris-based producer of international animated content for film and television. Prior to founding Superprod, Clement Calvet and Jeremie Fajner headed Gaumont Animation. Together they have produced and set financing structures for over 400 hours of international animated television programs, including “Lassie” with Dreamworks Animation. They also produced seven live-action and animation feature films, and most recently co-produced the Oscar nominated animated feature “Song of the Sea”.

Created in 2009 by Christel Henon and Lilian Eche, Bidibul Productions is a Luxembourg independent company. Lilian Eche has produced several animated films including Renaissance directed by Christian Volckman, Les Chasseurs de Dragons directed by Arthur Qwak and Guillaume Ivernel, “Numéro 9” directed by Shane Acker produced with Tim Burton, The Prodigies directed by Antoine Charreyron and Nicolas Bary’s first movie, “Les Enfants de Timpelbach”.

Founded in 2004 by Marc Turtletaub and Peter Saraf, Big Beach produces and finances independent films, television and theatre. Titles include: Academy Award nominated “Little Miss Sunshine”, “Everything is Illuminated” adapted from the novel by Jonathan Safran Foer, Jesse Peretz’s “Our Idiot Brother”, Philip Seymour Hoffman’s directorial debut, “Jack Goes Boating”, Colin Trevorrow’s “Safety Not Guaranteed” and Jordan Vogt-Roberts “The Kings of Summer”. Upcoming films include “Three Generations” starring Naomi Watts, Elle Fanning and Susan Sarandon, and “Loving”, directed by Jeff Nichols.

The book has proved so popular that it is now part of the school curriculum / recommended reading list in USA, UK, France and Italy.
